Although I can't give you a camera name to go buy, just note than using digital zoom to take pictures may get you "closer" to the action, however you will get blurry pictures if you every decide to print the picture bigger than it was taken. Just keep that in mind. Also, assuming you meant $1 500 - 2 000 and not $! 15 000 - 20 000, there are many, many great cameras that you can buy with that money. If you are not using the camera for video (primarialy) consider buying a DSLR like a Canon 60D or Canon T4i. However, even those cameras take great videos. Good luck with your purchase....Show more
