Rheba Cockman: Do not forget to serve some raw fruits, nuts and veggies like salad, with veganise salad dressing!
Hermina Ketring: True vegans eat nothing but raw organic fruits and vegetables and only drink water, cononuts juice and homemade squeezed juice from organic fruits or vegetables. But since that's such a rare lifestyle of vegan, vegans generally eat foods that are not meat or dairy and food that doesn't contain gelatin or honey, casein, whey and a bunch of other animal products you wouldn't expect. Other important things to know is that a vegetarian is not the same as a vegan because vegetarians can eat dairy, (just not yogurt because it has gelatin),and a vegetarian is not the same as a pescetarian because pescetarians eat fish and vegetarians cant....Show more
Sammy Hatzenbihler: Vegans are even stricter than vegetarians: they eat NO animal products, meaning no milk, no eggs, no cheese (so ice cream is definitely wrong). For dessert, just make a so! rbet or granita from fruit juice and sugar, maybe served with some fresh fruit. Add a bit of fresh mint, tarragon, or some other interesting herb to give it a flavor twist. For a main dish, there are tons of options. Saute mushrooms with a balsamic vinaigrette, then serve over quinoa and greens? Maybe falafel with hummus and a Greek salad (without the feta, of course!)? Chili with beans and veggies?...Show more

Miguel Koczela: Ahh, the age old question, lol. Tofutti makes a vegan "ice cream".Check out http://www.vegan-food.net/ for tons of recipes.Quoted: "For dessert, just make a sorbet or granita from fruit juice and sugar..."Please know that many vegans (myself included) will not eat processed sugar because of the use of bone char in the processing and bleaching. They do, however, make natural, unbleached sugar (it looks a bit tan, but is still the same as white su! gar). Also, make sure you provide the recipe or at least attach the ing! redients list to the dish if you make it yourself. Janita Tetlow: Yeah, spaghetti with tomato sauce is a pretty darned easy vegan meal. Make sure there's no eggs in the noodles and don't add any cheese.Ice cream is not vegan because it's made with milk. You may be able to find soy ice cream and some of them (Turtle Mountain Purely Decadent!) are very good. Otherwise you could ! just google "vegan cookies" or "vegan cupcakes" and get tons of recipes....Show more
