Rosalba Lingner: You might also want to check out my answer in this previous question for tips on "how to figure out" what you might be interested in pursuing as a hobby or activity:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200612......and probably this one too:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200912...And these would have more specific ideas:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201008...http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AiapH...http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai38c... (even though you're not limited in mobility)Btw, fourteen is a rough age for a lot of people too, and right at the beginning of figuring a lot of things out about yourself, and others, etc. It's also not unusual to be under-confident at that age and even be depressed, especially if you've limited yourself to a few small bubbles of experience and stimulation.HTH...Show more
Erica Bottaro: Maybe collect video! game related things like figures or other things video game related
Giovanna Cramblit: Just read manga... You'll learn lots of things. It's entertaining and fun. If you like drawing/art it can be inspiring. :DPersonally I think reading manga is a good break from all the *other* stuff. I enjoy it more than, graphs and huge articles/texts about humanistic studies. It kills time, but I like killing time by reading it. Read it when I'm happy, sad, frustrated, ... you name it. Manga does stimulate the mind I have a lot of dreams usually, I'm thankful for that. xD It's much like how I find books entertaining. I like reading both. But the difference is manga is that it has less words and more pictures. And without one of those marvel superhero's and villains who save people wearing tights. Those type of stories are better as movies rather than having been layed on paper. Manga passes time, and lets your mind run wild with all the new stories popping up. x] Ok that's it.. xD.! ..Show more

Charissa Bichsel: Try visiting this site www.brimple.com/how-to-find-a-hobbyIm sure it'll help you out just like how it helped me. I was also having problems before with finding a hobby that will suit me, I've tried to play different musical instruments and even cross-stitch just to kill some time but nothing helped, I was totally bored to death and can't seem to enjoy anything. So I came across that website and I did everything written on it, and now I finally found the right hobby for me. Hope this'll help you out.:)...Show more
Raleigh Lufkin: papercraft. looks corny as f*ck i know, but it's actually fun. make video game characters. its fun. no artistic skill needed.
Julieta Suleiman: KNITTING!!!!!!!!!!!! XDBut seriously . . .Learn to cook, jog, take long walks to the park, pic! k up photography, collect 4-leaved clovers, join a choir, or Boy Scouts, or Sea Scouts or the rock-collecting club. Make toy cars out of sticks, scrap-book, write poetry, send snail mail to random people, write messages in bottles and throw them out to sea, go see a play, find the stores that have free samples and EAT them!Or my personal favorite: go to a bus stop, take the first bus that comes, and have a completely random adventure! That's probably not for everyone, though :PJust use your imagination and get out of the house. Sunshine makes vitamin D :) Good luck, God bless!...Show more

Cuc Gire: smoke weed :)
Ilana Gaster: Well, smoking sure isn't getting yo! u anywhere, now is it? It certainly isn't getting you a social life...T! here are HUGE opportunities of eventful and fun hobbies; the catch is that you have to go out and TRY them. I mean, you've already tried BMX and skateboarding, and didn't like it. There's a start. You could perhaps start with something similar to video games? I dunno, like D&D or miniature war games...it's not much better exercise-wise, but you can build some great friendships, and even build your history knowledge.Or, if you're more into first-person-shooters, try paintballing or airsofting. I'm not a pro in this area, but even getting together a few buddies and shooting each other in the woods is fun. This will require you gaining some physical exercise, but I believe that it will help you. You may even become interested enough to join a team. You can read books, manga, or comics; all of these areas have huge areas of fanbase where you can create friendships. All, and even video games, have "conventions" ("Cons"), which is basically a giant collaboration of people in a sing! le place with the same interest. I, personally, am dabbling in this area; and I am even going to the extent of "cosplaying" (dressing up a favorite character from a book, comic, manga, etc; costume is usually homemade).Perhaps if you DO enjoy the outdoors, you could join a sport, or a outdoors club of some kind, or a Boy Scout Troop. Maybe the guitar may not be for you, but there might be other instruments that you're good at. Try sampling around, maybe ask some people for basics in different instruments. Or you could sing. Maybe join a band. You could even try out acting; try joining the school musicals and plays. You could even learn a new language...perhaps the awesome-sounding perplexing language of Chinese, or even the wooing romance language of French. There are other hobbies, too: collecting, photography, car maintenance...and you certainly don't have to STOP playing video games. Just keep an open mind, and try different things.Hope I helped!...Show more
