The new compact will also allow the Tribe to enlarge its video gaming casino and raise the limit on its jackpots. Coleen Carignan: In Minnesota, the gambling age is 18. They also serve alcohol in the c! asinos. You need to be 21 to drink, but they have figured out how to ask people for ID before serving a drink! Gambling is a states-rights issue. Write to your state legisalators and try to get them to lower the gambling age. Or take a trip someplace where the age is 18.
