Inge Mclaurine: A 240 is not a Silvia. Silvias were turbocharged while the 240 can barely move up the street. But,yea it would be an alright car.
Donald Caravalho: If you're not too good with cars I would not recommend the 240sx. It is a high maintenance car. You will have to keep an eye on the fluids almost daily. Keep your car in shape and it'll treat you well back though... they are very fun cars with many upgrades and swaps you can do.If you are not too knowledgeable about cars, a good first car would definitely be a Civic, Accord, Prelude, Integra, etc. They are reliable cars as long as you do regular oil changes, plugs, wires, and other regular replacement parts.By the way... the Silvia and 180sx were cars only made for the Japanese market. The 240sx was made for the United States. They were actually made in the same factory and even had symmetrical punch outs for either left/right-hand drive....Show more
