Who opposes polling and who supports it?

Hai Biggart: yes

Joaquin Dronko: Polls are not going to make a difference in this race. Remember when Mondale ran. He was way ahead in the polls then crashed and burned.McCain/Palin 08 COUNTRY FIRST

Lynn Hollars: I'm split on the subject. There is no way of getting around it, polls are here to stay. How accurate they are depends on who is asking the question and the types of questions being asked. For example, I saw a presidential poll asking "who would you rather sit down and drink a beer with?" Wow! I don't care who your supporting, but how does this have a bearing on who is better to lead our country?I hope they can improve on polling but I'm afraid this will never happen, not saying there isn't any good ones out there, but due to bias, we will always have a problem. Some bad things about polling:Politicians who govern by polls. Is this really leadership? Not saying a leader shouldn't consider what people think, but aren't they suppose to be in a better pos! ition to make good decisions? It is really sad to think that there may be voters out there that will make their judgment based on these polls. And you know there will be, because no one wants to vote for a loser....Show more

Keneth Mailhot: I oppose it 100%. There has never been a poll that was correct. Remember when the polls had Gore and Kerry winning their elections by 10 pints? They both lost. Polls are made up by the bias LIEberal media and they are made up to give some poor soul a job in the media and it gives the poor gullible people something to feel good about even though they are usually wrong.

Danette Slotnick: I don't think polling makes any difference. Many times the person ahead in the polls, even up to Election Day, still winds up losing the race. And the only way to make polling results more accurate would be to poll a much larger group of people.
