Joellen Zorrilla: Most DVRs will keep a recording until it runs out of storage. At this time it will start deleting shows, oldest first, to make room for newer ones.Most DVRs also have a feature to "lock" or "hold until I delete" a show which means even if it runs out of storage it won't erase them.Otherwise there's no limit to how long a recording can remain on your DVR....Show more
